The Solar Impulse Foundation, which champions world-leading technologies that protect the environment in a profitable way, awarded its “efficient solution” label to 17 �鶹��ý green building solutions.

What is the Solar Impulse Foundation?

In 2016, Bertrand Piccard completed the first global circumnavigation in a solar-powered electric airplane. Building on this success, Piccard created the Solar Impulse Foundation (SIF) to accelerate adoption of clean technologies.

SIF set out in 2018 to find 1,000 possible solutions that protect the environment in a profitable way, as assessed by a pool of independent experts. Selected solutions received the “efficient solution” label as proof of their positive environmental and economic impact.
