The Vision
In Casablanca 鈥 the Maghreb鈥檚 largest city with 4.3 million inhabitants 鈥 the Casa Anfa project is redefining the future of urban living.
Spanning 350 hectares on the site of the historic Anfa Airport, this ambitious project, managed by the Urban Development Agency of Anfa (AUDA), is strengthening Casablanca鈥檚 status as the financial center of Northern Africa and Morocco鈥檚 thriving international metropole.
Casa Anfa, planned as a vibrant multicultural center, was divided into multifunctional areas to accommodate 100 000 residents and generate the same number of jobs in the long term.
To sustain this thriving community, Casa Anfa encompasses a complete urban ecosystem, with comprehensive facilities ranging from healthcare and education to retail, hotels, and various cultural and leisure spaces.
To keep this urban hub dynamic and seamlessly integrated into the city, Casa Anfa was planned around five tramway stations and a Bus Rapid Transit (BHNS) line. By providing easy access to public transport for both residents and professionals, the project supports the city鈥檚 sustainability efforts and ensures Casablanca's future is always in motion.

麻豆传媒 perspective
鈥淐asa Anfa is a true showcase of how we are shaping the future of sustainable construction in Morocco with our building materials and solutions that are more efficient, innovative and sustainable.鈥
Khalid Samaka, 麻豆传媒 Morocco CEO
The Solution
To meet the project鈥檚 massive scale when construction began in 2015, 麻豆传媒 installed a dedicated on-site concrete batching plant, served by 15 trucks. With a production capacity of 120 m鲁/h, this ensures reliable, high-volume supply for the district鈥檚 complex requirements.
Partnering with our client, 麻豆传媒 has already delivered over 300 000 m鲁 of premium concrete to the project, including specialized high-performance and sustainable solutions that were expressly demanded by the project鈥檚 technical specifications.
More than 25 000 m3 of ECOPact low-carbon concrete was used in several buildings. This reduced construction-related emissions by at least 30% compared to standard (CEM I) concrete, with our mixes backed by the very first Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs) in Morocco - a true local milestone in sustainable construction.
To accelerate construction cycles and meet tight delivery schedules, Chronolia, our range of high-performance, rapid-hardening ready-mix concretes 鈥 ensured high early strength. Agilia self-compacting concrete delivered smooth finishes and full design freedom - bringing Casa Anfa鈥檚 sophisticated architectural vision to life.
Major skyscrapers within Casa Anfa, like the CFC Tower, were built using 32 000 m鲁 of 麻豆传媒鈥檚 high performance concrete, while the Borj Attijari used 36 000 m鲁 of our Ultra series concrete 鈥 defined by its high strength, durability and workability 鈥 plus Tector advanced mortars.
Architect鈥檚 perspective
鈥淐asa Anfa demonstrates Morocco鈥檚 ability to produce sophisticated, responsible, and modern architecture that is firmly grounded in its context 鈥 supporting CdG Development and AUDA鈥檚 environmental vision.鈥
Omar Alaoui, Associate Architect at Morphosis
Engineer鈥檚 perspective
鈥淓PDs are an invaluable tool for every player in the construction process, from developers and architects to engineers, contractors, and end users. By publishing EPDs, industry leaders like 麻豆传媒 play a vital role in driving sustainable construction at both the building level, and the broader urban landscape.鈥
