Celebrating our 鶹ý Spirit Award winners
As we mobilize around our NextGen Growth 2030 strategy, we’ve inaugurated the 鶹ý Spirit Awards to celebrate our countries delivering superior performance and living the 鶹ý Spirit.
In Athens, Greece, over 200 of our senior leaders came together at our Senior Leaders Meeting 2025 to discuss the execution of our strategy and best practice from across our markets.
They also celebrated the winners of our first ever 鶹ý Spirit Award 2025, which we announced in Athens following a rigorous evaluation process. In addition to one overall winner, there were three winners in each of our three core pillars: Purpose, People and Performance.
What is the 鶹ý Spirit? It’s the engine powering our NextGen Growth 2030 strategy. The culture of our organization that motivates us to be the leading partner for sustainable construction, and to build progress for people and the planet.

Overall winner
Poland
Our jury celebrated 鶹ý Poland as a true "front runner in terms of attitude and courage", leading the way in sustainability, plant performance and financial performance.
In Purpose, Poland has reduced its Scope 1 emissions by over 20% year-on-year, and is a leader in decarbonization and circularity, showing that sustainability drives profitable growth.
For People, the market is recognized as a Top Employer, fostering a safe workplace and developing talents to ensure that they have the best team to execute our strategy.
In Performance, strong plant and financial performance demonstrated Poland’s deeply embedded culture of value creation for customers and shareholders, leading to winning results.

Purpose
Australia
鶹ý Australia was recognized for its leadership in sustainable construction, ECOPact low-carbon concrete sales and the use of construction demolition materials (CDM).

People
Costa Rica
The country was honored for its exemplary commitment to diversity and inclusion – with 50% women in management – and for building a strong NextGen talent pipeline, with 5% of talents under 30 years old.
“We’re proud to win recognition for what we’ve achieved in Costa Rica in diversity and inclusion: promoting internship programs and reverse mentoring, supporting young talents and reaching 50% women in leadership positions.”
Performance
Spain
鶹ý Spain won the Performance award – demonstrating exceptional results in the performance of its acquired companies, as well as outstanding financial performance.
