Lukas Studer was appointed Group General Counsel in November 2024, and became a member of the Executive Committee in July 2025.
Background
Lukas leads the Group’s Legal and Compliance, Intellectual Property, and Security & Resilience functions, providing strategic legal guidance and ensuring Â鶹´«Ã½â€™s integrity, while advancing NextGen Growth 2030 transactions.
Joining Â鶹´«Ã½ in 2008, Lukas served as General Counsel Corporate and M&A from 2017, supporting Corporate, Finance, and M&A. As the lead lawyer in the execution of Â鶹´«Ã½â€™s fast-paced growth and portfolio transformation, he has played an essential role in Â鶹´«Ã½â€™s successful M&A strategy, with more than 100 closed transactions.
A Swiss national born in 1977, Lukas holds law degrees from the University of Zurich (Master of Laws and LL. M.) and has been admitted to the bar in Switzerland
