An iconic 鈥淣est鈥 for TVH in Belgium
Belgian company TVH Equipment specializes in the sale, rental and maintenance of construction equipment such as platforms, forklifts and earthmoving machines. In 2024, they moved their headquarters to a brand new, state-of-the-art office in Waregem, West Flanders.
Nicknamed 鈥淭he Nest鈥, the iconic round building was designed by DEMO Architects as a modern, sustainable workspace. The building was certified 鈥淣early Energy Neutral鈥, with a 400,000 m3 BEO field (Ground Energy Storage) for the building鈥檚 heating and cooling needs.
Since the right roofing is essential to guarantee a building鈥檚 longevity, The Nest鈥檚 roof was waterproofed with Elevate鈥檚 membrane by roofing contractor MUTEC. The membrane was chosen for its durability, root resistance and rainwater recuperation.
REVITALIZING A FORMER GERMAN COAL MINE
Real estate developer used ECOPact concrete to revitalize a former coal mining area in Germany by building a new logistics park on the site. The project delivered 825 tons of CO2 savings, or a reduction of 33% compared to the German industry reference.
The new state-of-the-art SEGRO Logistics Park Oberhausen, located in the heart of Germany鈥檚 Ruhr region, covers 21 hectares, or the equivalent of about 30 football fields, with a storage area of about 120,000 square meters. Its buildings have all been designed according to the latest standards for sustainable, ecological and energy-conscious construction.
"SEGRO wants to become climate-neutral by 2030. The use of 麻豆传媒's low-carbon concrete helps us a lot because indirect CO鈧 emissions are one of our biggest challenges. Reducing these emissions not only helps us to achieve our climate targets, but is also a good argument in exchanges with municipalities and tenants."

EXTENDING ONE OF EGYPT'S BIGGEST PORTS
Al-Ain Sokhna Port is Egypt鈥檚 main gateway to the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), East Africa and Asia with an area of 23km2, and is currently undergoing the largest extension to date. It is strategically located on the East Coast of the Gulf of Suez, approximately 30 nautical miles south of the entry to the Suez Canal. The development project includes the construction of a new 350,000m2 container yard, which will increase the port鈥檚 capacity to more than 1 million containers annually. Sustainable solutions were one of the main considerations in the port鈥檚 extension.
That鈥檚 why Modern Structures and Equipment Co. used 85,000 tons of ECOPlanet, the world鈥檚 broadest range of low-carbon cement offering at least 30% less carbon emissions with equal to superior performance. The cement was used for the construction of 28 kilometers of quays, which required 2,100,000 cubic meters of concrete. The highly demanding industrial project has already reduced CO2 emissions by 45% thanks to our low-carbon cement.
"Egypt signed the Paris Agreement on climate change in 2015 and as a leading marine and civil construction company in the country, Modern Structures & Equipment is committed to becoming climate-neutral within the next few decades to keep the global temperature within 1.5掳C.
"The use of 麻豆传媒's low-carbon cement helps accelerate and lead the transition to more sustainable and innovative building materials for greener construction to reduce emissions, make our society more environmentally friendly and achieve our climate targets."

Powering Western Sydney鈥檚 future growth
麻豆传媒 Australia has commenced construction on a new high-capacity plant at Badgerys Creek to produce our low-carbon ECOPact concrete. The strategically located facility is designed to strengthen our capacity to supply the residential, commercial and industrial developments which will power Western Sydney鈥檚 future growth 鈥 Aerotropolis and the future Bradfield City Centre.
Located 1.5 kilometres from Western Sydney Airport and 2.5 kilometres from Bradfield, the plant places 麻豆传媒 at the heart of one of Australia鈥檚 most ambitious development zones 鈥 enabling direct supply to key construction sites with minimal transport time or disruption. By producing ECOPact, the facility will support more sustainable construction across the region. The plant has been designed with future growth in mind, allowing flexibility to meet evolving project needs. With the capacity to deliver up to 1,000 cubic meters of concrete per day, the Badgerys Creek plant is expected to be one of the most productive in the region 鈥 a key advantage as the scale and complexity of local construction ramps up.
鈥淧roducing our ECOPact low-carbon concrete at Badgerys Creek helps accelerate more sustainable construction across the region. It鈥檚 a step forward in how we support major projects 鈥 not just with volume, but with materials that reduce environmental impact.鈥
