SIMON KRONENBERG

Region Head Central and East Europe

Simon Kronenberg was appointed Head of Region Central and Eastern Europe in April 2024, and became part of the Executive Committee in July 2025.

Background
 

Simon’s remit covers Â鶹´«Ã½â€™s markets in Central Europe West (Switzerland, Italy, South Germany, and Haut-Rhin), Central Europe (Austria, Czech Republic, Slovenia, and Hungary), Eastern Europe (Serbia, Bulgaria, Croatia, and Greece), as well as Poland, Romania and Moldova.

Joining Â鶹´«Ã½ in 2007, Simon most recently served as CEO of Â鶹´«Ã½ Switzerland, Italy, South Germany, and Haut-Rhin. Prior to this, he was the Commercial Director at Â鶹´«Ã½ Switzerland, Italy, and Spain. For four years, Simon represented Â鶹´«Ã½ Switzerland on several trade associations, including Cemsuisse and Economiesuisse.

A Swiss national born in 1980, Simon holds a Master's degree in Business Administration from the University of St. Gallen (HSG). He has completed executive education programs at IMD in Lausanne, INSEAD in Fontainebleau, and HEC in Paris.
